Started in 1997 to promote Model Railroading in San Angelo and the surrounding area, the club welcomes members of all ages and with all skill levels, from beginners to advance craftsman.
Under the protective Corporate structure of the Historic Orient-Santa Fe Depot, Inc., the club and its members spend much of their time in developing, building and running displays of model trains in Z, N, HO, O and G gauges for the Railway Museum of San Angelo permanent displays as well as at special events like Railfair and Santa's Santa Fe Christmas.
The Club has monthly meeting upstairs at the Railway Museum of San Angelo in the historic Orient Santa Fe Depot, 703 S. Chadbourne at 7 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of each month
